Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Time Progress website, desktop agent, browser extension, and related services ("Services"). By creating an account, installing the agent, or using the Services, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptable use

You may use Time Progress only for lawful workforce-management purposes. You must not use the Services to harass, discriminate against, or spy on individuals, or to collect data in violation of applicable employment or privacy laws.

2. Monitoring consent

Time Progress is designed as a consent-first monitoring platform. Before tracking any device, you must inform the user, obtain any legally required consent, and ensure the user can pause or stop tracking. Continued use of the agent after enrollment constitutes consent by the tracked user.

3. Employer and employee responsibilities

The account owner and admins are responsible for complying with local labour and privacy laws, configuring appropriate retention and blur settings, and responding to employee data-export or deletion requests. Employees are responsible for keeping their account credentials secure and using the agent in accordance with their employer's policies.

4. Data ownership

Activity and screenshot data collected from your workspace belongs to your organisation. Time Progress acts as a processor and stores data on your behalf. You can export or request deletion of personal data at any time from the Privacy settings.

5. Retention

Data is retained according to your selected plan and workspace settings. You are responsible for configuring retention periods that comply with your legal and contractual obligations.

6. Payments, refunds and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance through PayPal. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the Billing page. Refunds are handled at our discretion unless required by law.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, fraudulent payments, or illegal use. You may cancel your account at any time; data will be retained for the configured period and then purged automatically.

8. Limitation of liability

Time Progress is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
